A strange and wonderful classic, a solo album by David Crosby from 1971, then best known not only for the Byrds but as a quarter of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Solo album is curious onsofar as that this album has a cast of stella musicians from San Francisco and the west coast of that time, such as Gerry Garcia and Phil Lesh from 'The Dead', Grace Slick and Jack Cassidy from 'Airplane', Joni Mitchell, Linda Romdstadt and others from bands such as Quicksilver and Santana. And yet it has a style all of its own, still unique for its atmosphere, evocative of time and place, and yet still fresh. Hard to describe, a must to hear.
